Six port corridors feed those regions into Botswana. CoreTech also holds a standing relationship with Africa's largest refinery, in Lagos, Nigeria, which shortens the supply chain into the continent.

CoreTech is the trading arm of Core Technology Proprietary Limited. It trades, supplies and markets petroleum products. Long-standing relationships with major fuel traders give the business a reach that a market of Botswana's size does not normally command.
Supply
Product moves from the load port through terminal storage to the customer's gate, using hospitality arrangements at third party terminals along each corridor.
Marketing
Bulk fuel goes to wholesalers in Botswana and the surrounding region, with local and regional trading partners alongside.

What we trade.
CoreTech trades refined petroleum products in bulk. Grade and specification are confirmed cargo by cargo against the destination market's statutory requirements. Botswana Bureau of Standards and BERA fuel specifications apply to domestic delivery.

Specifications are issued per enquiry. Sulphur limits, density, flash point and cetane vary by origin refinery and by destination regulation. Every cargo carries a certificate of quality against the agreed specification. The current spec sheet is available on enquiry.
How supply works
Five steps between a refinery and your tank.
CoreTech owns no storage, by design. The company holds agreements to use tanks and pipelines belonging to terminal operators under hospitality arrangements, which lets it move large volumes without paying to build a tank farm.
Those agreements carry the operation. They are what lets a Botswana-domiciled trader handle cargo-scale volumes and hold a supply chain steady across several jurisdictions at once.

Origination
Cargo bought from a refiner or trading counterparty in the WCI, AG, MEG or SSA region against a confirmed specification.

Ocean freight
Product lifted and shipped to the nominated discharge port: Walvis Bay, Beira or another regional gateway.

Terminal hospitality
Discharged into third-party storage under hospitality agreement, with independent inspection and quality certification on receipt.

Inland haulage
Road or rail movement along the corridor into Botswana, cleared through the relevant border and customs regimes.

Delivered to the wholesaler, depot or end user, with regional trading partners where that shortens the route.
