The board was made from two pieces of wood (it’s not split) & the inscription on the back is dated 1947

not dissimilar to the novelty gift cards you can buy today

a little less so with a stand to make it a frame

heavy metal plaque with a charming cupid motif

Several real butterflies are mounted on mauve watered silk

Condition is excellent with just some light wear at the extremities of the spine & corners being the extent of its imperfections

then they would take the finished pieces to the jeweler to have hardware put on

The mirror has a scratch on one side
