although a very small number were issued in white – the same colour it was given when part of the now-legendary Avengers ‘GS40’ gift set

It was initially available in two guises – as Corgi 211 (in blue with gold fin detailing)

the star feature was undoubtedly its roof-mounted surf board

Corgi 1126 was also available in Gift Set 16

It was a must-have for schoolboys of the era

It was introduced into the range in 1965 and stayed in production until 1969

production stopped in 1965 with rumours that Corgi 224 was too expensive to continue to be produced

Great car AND a great livery

It was deleted in 1975
