Oversized Shawl | Grey Block WeaveThis shawl, which can double as a throw, was locally sheared, washed, brushed, hand spun, and hand woven on a traditional wooden loom. It has all the delightful texture of a truly artisanal product, allowing you to feel intimately connected with the process of producing this work of art. The blocks of grey were creating by spinning yarns with a mixture of naturally dark grey wool and cream wool from sheep to create the variant shades of grey. No dyes

It is hand-felted from local undyed sheep's wool by a women’s cooperative in Tejerouine

• Lining is 100% cotton from dead-stock weaves repurposed to reduce waste

to hold either side of the wool threads as they braid and attach them to this piece

Each piece is handwoven on a traditional loom by artisans in our cooperative

and stitched from 10 meters of fabric by Riyadh and his sons from Jerba
